Your consultation is one of the most important aspects of your decision process. This is an opportunity to learn about the procedure and explore the alternatives which may be available. Your discussion with the doctor should include the expected results of surgery, potential complications, and the recovery that is typically associated with the procedure.
Dr. Peters will spend the time necessary to accomplish this with every patient. Your medical and surgical history will be reviewed, as well as noting any potential social circumstances which may impact your surgery. He believes it is important in planning your surgery that all aspects of the procedure be understood. The consultation with Dr. Peters is also an excellent opportunity to have all your questions answered. Each patient will receive a written financial statement at the conclusion of the consultation. There is a professional fee for the consultation of $150.00 (new patients only, does not apply to established plastic surgery patients).
